School was a Hit!

What an intense and emotional day! I took Jade to the Waldorf School in the morning. We were received so warmly! So many hugs and kisses all around! We stayed after-school picnic for a picnic. So wonderful to see so many friends! Jade was right back in her element, like she never left.

“Can I come back again this week?” she pleaded. Uh oh! Of course she can but what will it be like when she has to leave on Saturday?

After the picnic, we headed to a great bowling alley/pizza dinner with our former baby sitter. More hugs and kisses all around. Saige, our two year old, gave her a huge smile right off the bat even though she hasn’t seen her in fourteen months! Wow, the bonds here are strong!

After dinner with our former baby sitter, I left the kids with Esteban and headed out to an Indian restaurant (no good Indian in Bogota as far as I know) with a group of friends. I haven’t had a Girls’ Night Out in fourteen months!!! It was heavenly!

Hi, I was googling Waldor in Bogotá and your blog came up. I am wondering if you can share the name of the Waldorf school you child is attending. We are also expats living in Bogota and come from a Wladorf school in Los Angeles. So far I have not been able to find like minded people here.
    Thanks so much

    • Hi Gabriela,

So nice to hear from you! Our daughter attends Colegio Montecervino in Chia. We actually live in Chia so we can be close to the school. We are also looking to meet like minded people so would love to know more about you. How long have you been here? Where do your kids go to school now? What are you guys doing here? The usual getting to know you stuff.

      Take care,
