I woke up feeling rather crappy after throwing up the night before. I think it was from all the fried food. There is only so much pasta, fried fish, fried chicken and fried potatoes I can eat before my body goes on strike. Food is definitely not a Llanos highlight. We have all gotten to the point of slightly dreading meal times.
Luckily there wasn’t much on the agenda, apart from going into Puerto Lopez in an attempt to find some different food, and we spent these two days hanging around the pool and resting. It was very relaxing and the kids had a great time, although I have to confess that we adults aren’t used to so much time just sitting around doing nothing. We couldn’t seem to fully relax, an affliction of our modern times!
