Ajiaco With Friends and a View

This past weekend some friends from Siena´s class invited us to an ajiaco party. Ajiaco is a traditional soup from the Bogota area consisting of chicken, corn, and several different types of potatoes served with a hearty slice of avocado, rice, capers and heavy cream on the side. The ajiaco was delicious. The friends´house is in a gorgeous location overlooking the mountains. We had a great time! I love how lunch lasts all day here. We arrived at noon and where one of the first to leave at 7 pm. A great day of hanging out, eating, talking and playing games!
